The work La nuit fluide by Jacques Hérold was sold in the La Révolution Surréaliste auction at Bonhams in March this year. It achieved a price of EUR 7,012.50 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacques Hérold - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Grand Transparent, which sold at auction in July 2005 for EUR 22,200.00.

Die Arbeit La nuit fluide von Jacques Hérold wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion La Révolution Surréaliste bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 7.012,50 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacques Hérold mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Grand Transparent beobachtet, die im Juli 2005 für EUR 22.200,00 versteigert wurde.
