Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Photographies / Photographs, which included the work Le Grand Prix De L'Automobile Club De France' by Jacques Henri Lartigue. The price achieved of EUR 8,125.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacques Henri Lartigue have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Automobile Delage, Grand Prix de l’Automobile-Club de France, Le Tréport, 26 juin 1912 in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 54,536.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Photographies / Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Grand Prix De L'Automobile Club De France' von Jacques Henri Lartigue zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 8.125,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacques Henri Lartigue auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Automobile Delage, Grand Prix de l’Automobile-Club de France, Le Tréport, 26 juin 1912 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 54.536,01).
