It achieved a price of USD 39,000.00 (€ 28,846.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacques-Charles Oudry - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dogs In A Landscape With Their Catch, which sold at auction in June 2015 for USD 87,500.00 (€ 78,447.19).
