This artwork by Jacques-Charles Oudry achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in January 2007. In the Important Old Master Paintings and European Works of Art auction, the work Portrait Of Linda, A Pekingese sold for USD 72,000.00 (€ 55,393.14) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jacques-Charles Oudry; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dogs In A Landscape With Their Catch sold at auction in June 2015 with the realized price of USD 87,500.00 (€ 78,447.19).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacques-Charles Oudry erzielte im Januar 2007 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
