Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2001 Christies in London held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES, which included the work A dead hare hanging from a nail with coffee pot, cup and saucer, pastries and block of salt on a ledge by Jacques-Charles Oudry. It changed hands for a price of GBP 9,987.50 (€ 16,101.10) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacques-Charles Oudry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dogs In A Landscape With Their Catch in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 78,447.19).

Im April 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A dead hare hanging from a nail with coffee pot, cup and saucer, pastries and block of salt on a ledge von Jacques-Charles Oudry zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 9.987,50 (€ 16.101,10) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacques-Charles Oudry auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dogs In A Landscape With Their Catch im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 78.447,19).
