Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work A Portrait Of A Brown And White Toy Spaniel In A Landscape by Jacques-Charles Oudry. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,616.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacques-Charles Oudry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dogs In A Landscape With Their Catch in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 78,447.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Portrait Of A Brown And White Toy Spaniel In A Landscape von Jacques-Charles Oudry zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 9.616,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacques-Charles Oudry auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dogs In A Landscape With Their Catch im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 78.447,19).
