A top price for Jacques-Charles Oudry - as previously expected
In June 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings, which included the work Dogs In A Landscape With Their Catch by Jacques-Charles Oudry. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 87,500.00 (€ 78,447.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Dogs In A Landscape With Their Catch is the most expensive artwork by Jacques-Charles Oudry that we have observed at auctions so far.
