Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of a senator, half-length, in red robes by Jacopo Robusti was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 57,500.00 (€ 64,060.10) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacopo Robusti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A An Elderly Bearded Man, Head And Shoulders in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,609,250.00 (€ 2,044,570.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a senator, half-length, in red robes von Jacopo Robusti kam im Dezember 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 57.500,00 (€ 64.060,10) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacopo Robusti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of A An Elderly Bearded Man, Head And Shoulders im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.609.250,00 (€ 2.044.570,24).
