Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait of a boy, probably of the Mocenigo family, bust-length by Jacopo Robusti was sold in the Old Masters Day Sale auction at Christies in London in July 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 97,500.00 (€ 109,318.94), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacopo Robusti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of A An Elderly Bearded Man, Head And Shoulders in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,609,250.00 (€ 2,044,570.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
