Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction Important Old Master Pictures, which included the work Two Red Vases With Lilies, Carnations, An Iris, Verbena And Other Flowers by Jacopo Ligozzi. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 131,200.00 (€ 192,061.42). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacopo Ligozzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Turbanned Pasha With An Elephant, which sold at auction in July 2009 for GBP 529,250.00 (€ 600,540.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Red Vases With Lilies, Carnations, An Iris, Verbena And Other Flowers von Jacopo Ligozzi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 131.200,00 (€ 192.061,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacopo Ligozzi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Turbanned Pasha With An Elephant beobachtet, die im Juli 2009 für GBP 529.250,00 (€ 600.540,11) versteigert wurde.
