The price achieved of USD 228,000.00 (€ 180,608.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacopo Ligozzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Turbanned Pasha With An Elephant, which sold at auction in July 2009 for GBP 529,250.00 (€ 600,540.11).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 228.000,00 (€ 180.608,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden.
