Sold at the upper estimate price
In December 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work The Israelites In The Wilderness by Jacopo da Ponte. The auction ended at the price of GBP 300,000.00 (€ 354,564.89), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacopo da Ponte achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Adoration Of The Shepherds in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 8,901,000.00 (€ 6,593,333.33).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Israelites In The Wilderness von Jacopo da Ponte zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 300.000,00 (€ 354.564,89) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacopo da Ponte erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Adoration Of The Shepherds im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.901.000,00 (€ 6.593.333,33).
