In December 2020 Christies in London held the auction Italian Drawings From The Robert Landolt Collection, which included the work Study for Christ in the Agony in the Garden by Jacopo da Ponte. The result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,512.67) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacopo da Ponte achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Adoration Of The Shepherds in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 8,901,000.00 (€ 6,593,333.33).

Im Dezember 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Italian Drawings From The Robert Landolt Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study for Christ in the Agony in the Garden von Jacopo da Ponte zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.512,67) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacopo da Ponte erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Adoration Of The Shepherds im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.901.000,00 (€ 6.593.333,33).
