Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A colourful bouquet by Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,075.50 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A quiet afternoon in January 2001 with an auction result of NLG 41,125.00 (€ 17,995.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A colourful bouquet von Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever wurde im Juni 2004 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.075,50 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Simon Hendrik Kever erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A quiet afternoon im Januar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 41.125,00 (€ 17.995,50).
