However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacob van Es - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life With A Fish On A Terracotta Plate, Bunches Of Asparagus, Artichokes And Cherries In A Scalloped Dish, Together With Half A Cheese In A Basket, Bread Rolls, Fraises De Bois, Lemons, Oranges And Crabs All Arranged On A Table Top, which sold at auction in July 2011 for GBP 91,250.00 (€ 104,723.03).
