Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jack Leyine could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Sporting Art and Dogs auction, the work Calling the hounds changed hands for GBP 575.75 (€ 827.38) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Other works by Jack Leyine have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2004 by the work Clearing the ditch at GBP 717.00 (€ 1,067.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jack Leyine konnte im Juni 2003 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Sporting Art and Dogs wechselte die Arbeit Calling the hounds für GBP 575,75 (€ 827,38) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Andere Arbeiten von Jack Leyine wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2004 die Arbeit Clearing the ditch mit GBP 717,00 (€ 1.067,11).
