Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2015 Christies in London held the auction Prints & Multiples: First Impression, which included the work Untitled #2 by Jack Goldstein. The price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,369.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Goldstein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 782,500.00 (€ 601,460.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Prints & Multiples: First Impression durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled #2 von Jack Goldstein zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.369,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jack Goldstein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 782.500,00 (€ 601.460,42).
