This artwork by Jaap Weijand achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2008. In the European Noble and Private Collections auction, the work A still life with apples and pears in a basket sold for EUR 3,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jaap Weijand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A still life with red flowers in September 2008 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jaap Weijand erzielte im Juni 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion European Noble and Private Collections wurde die Arbeit A still life with apples and pears in a basket für EUR 3.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jaap Weijand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A still life with red flowers im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
