Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nature Morte by Jaap Weijand was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2002. The price achieved of EUR 1,762.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jaap Weijand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A still life with red flowers in September 2008 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nature Morte von Jaap Weijand wurde im März 2002 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.762,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jaap Weijand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A still life with red flowers im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
