This artwork by Jaap Weijand achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2008. In the European Noble and Private Collections auction, the work Orchard in autumn sold for EUR 2,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 900.00. Admittedly, works by Jaap Weijand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A still life with red flowers in September 2008 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jaap Weijand erzielte im Juni 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion European Noble and Private Collections wurde die Arbeit Orchard in autumn für EUR 2.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jaap Weijand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A still life with red flowers im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
