Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage De Bergen by Jaap Weijand was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,375.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jaap Weijand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A still life with red flowers in September 2008 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paysage De Bergen von Jaap Weijand kam im März 2009 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.375,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jaap Weijand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A still life with red flowers im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
