Sold at the upper estimate price
This work without title by Jaap Wagemaker was sold in the Nineteen to Now auction at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2012. The auction ended at the price of EUR 5,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jaap Wagemaker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work De Ruiter in November 2000 with an auction result of NLG 72,552.40 (€ 33,989.64).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jaap Wagemaker wurde im März 2012 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jaap Wagemaker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit De Ruiter im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 72.552,40 (€ 33.989,64).
