This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Pougny achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chaise Et Boîte À Chapeaux in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,762,500.00 (€ 1,354,727.13).

Die Arbeit Plage rose von Jean Pougny war einem Käufer im Juni 2021 GBP 37.800,00 (€ 44.046,83) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Pougny erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chaise Et Boîte À Chapeaux im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.762.500,00 (€ 1.354.727,13).
