Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work La Rue Vercingétorix by Jean Pougny was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,543.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Pougny achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chaise Et Boîte À Chapeaux in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,762,500.00 (€ 1,354,727.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Rue Vercingétorix von Jean Pougny wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.190,00 (€ 9.543,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean Pougny erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chaise Et Boîte À Chapeaux im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.762.500,00 (€ 1.354.727,13).
