Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,654.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ivan Ivanovich Godlevsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bay of Tchekhov in February 2005 with an auction result of USD 16,800.00 (€ 12,656.32).
