The work General sphinx medley by Issy Wood was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in October last year. It achieved a price of GBP 115,920.00 (€ 135,045.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 29%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Issy Wood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Chalet, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 441,000.00 (€ 522,855.13).

Die Arbeit General sphinx medley von Issy Wood wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 115.920,00 (€ 135.045,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 29%. Für andere Arbeiten von Issy Wood mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Chalet beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für GBP 441.000,00 (€ 522.855,13) versteigert wurde.
