Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Phillips in 12 - held the auction Wired: Online Auction, which included the work Zinabu by Isshaq Ismail. The price achieved of GBP 17,780.00 (€ 20,263.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isshaq Ismail achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nkabom 2 in March last year with an auction result of GBP 277,200.00 (€ 328,651.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Phillips in 12 - die Auktion Wired: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zinabu von Isshaq Ismail zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.780,00 (€ 20.263,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isshaq Ismail erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nkabom 2 im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 277.200,00 (€ 328.651,80).
