Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Isshaq Ismail could be acquired at Phillips in 19 - in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Heatwave: Online Auction auction, the work Hopeful 3 changed hands for GBP 11,430.00 (€ 11,430.00) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isshaq Ismail achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nkabom 2 in March last year with an auction result of GBP 277,200.00 (€ 328,651.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Isshaq Ismail konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 19 - für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit Hopeful 3 für GBP 11.430,00 (€ 11.430,00) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isshaq Ismail erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nkabom 2 im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 277.200,00 (€ 328.651,80).
