Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Zain by Isshaq Ismail for GBP 6,350.00 (€ 6,350.00). This price was achieved in the auction Heatwave: Online Auction at Phillips in 19 - and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isshaq Ismail achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nkabom 2 in March last year with an auction result of GBP 277,200.00 (€ 328,651.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Zain von Isshaq Ismail für GBP 6.350,00 (€ 6.350,00) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Heatwave: Online Auction bei Phillips in 19 - erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isshaq Ismail erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nkabom 2 im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 277.200,00 (€ 328.651,80).
