Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Isshaq Ismail could be acquired at Phillips in London in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Consolidation 2 changed hands for GBP 20,320.00 (€ 23,707.28) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isshaq Ismail achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nkabom 2 in March last year with an auction result of GBP 277,200.00 (€ 328,651.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Isshaq Ismail konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Consolidation 2 für GBP 20.320,00 (€ 23.707,28) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isshaq Ismail erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nkabom 2 im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 277.200,00 (€ 328.651,80).
