Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Zaid by Isshaq Ismail was sold in the Wired: Online Auction auction at Phillips in 12 - in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 15,240.00 (€ 17,368.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isshaq Ismail achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nkabom 2 in March last year with an auction result of GBP 277,200.00 (€ 328,651.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Zaid von Isshaq Ismail wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in 12 - versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 15.240,00 (€ 17.368,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isshaq Ismail erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nkabom 2 im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 277.200,00 (€ 328.651,80).
