Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Oman Mu Nsem 14 by Isshaq Ismail for GBP 11,430.00 (€ 13,026.47). This price was achieved in the auction Wired: Online Auction at Phillips in 12 - and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isshaq Ismail achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nkabom 2 in March last year with an auction result of GBP 277,200.00 (€ 328,651.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Oman Mu Nsem 14 von Isshaq Ismail für GBP 11.430,00 (€ 13.026,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in 12 - erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isshaq Ismail erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nkabom 2 im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 277.200,00 (€ 328.651,80).
