Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Issei Suda achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in December 2018. In the Fotografia auction, the work Untitled 1970 ca. sold for EUR 3,200.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,300.00. Admittedly, works by Issei Suda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ume-Matsuri, Ogose, Saitama' in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Issei Suda erzielte im Dezember 2018 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fotografia wurde die Arbeit Untitled 1970 ca. für EUR 3.200,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.300,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Issei Suda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ume-Matsuri, Ogose, Saitama' im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250,00.
