Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Il Ponte held the auction Fotografia, which included the work Fusuma 1970 ca. by Issei Suda. The price achieved of EUR 1,300.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,100.00 – 1,400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Issei Suda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ume-Matsuri, Ogose, Saitama' in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Fotografia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fusuma 1970 ca. von Issei Suda zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.300,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.100,00 – 1.400,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Issei Suda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ume-Matsuri, Ogose, Saitama' im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250,00.
