Sold at the upper estimate price
The work The white mask 1970 ca. by Issei Suda was auctioned at Il Ponte in July 2020. The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,400.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,100.00 – 1,400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Issei Suda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ume-Matsuri, Ogose, Saitama' in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit The white mask 1970 ca. von Issei Suda kam im Juli 2020 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.400,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.100,00 – 1.400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Issei Suda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ume-Matsuri, Ogose, Saitama' im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250,00.
