Upper estimate price exceeded by 57 %.
In July 2020 Il Ponte held the auction Fotografia, which included the work Children 1970 ca. by Issei Suda. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,200.00 57% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Issei Suda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ume-Matsuri, Ogose, Saitama' in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 57 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Fotografia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Children 1970 ca. von Issei Suda zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.200,00 und damit 57% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Issei Suda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ume-Matsuri, Ogose, Saitama' im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250,00.
