This artwork by Israel Lund achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in July 2019. In the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction, the work without title sold for USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,423.18) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Israel Lund achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 110,500.00 (€ 141,092.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Israel Lund erzielte im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.423,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Israel Lund erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 110.500,00 (€ 141.092,54).
