This work without title by Ismail Gulgee was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2018. It achieved a price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,208.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ismail Gulgee - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pakistani untitled (Dancing Woman), which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 77,500.00 (€ 65,137.00).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ismail Gulgee kam im September 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.208,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ismail Gulgee mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pakistani untitled (Dancing Woman) beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 77.500,00 (€ 65.137,00) versteigert wurde.
