The result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,629.04) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Isidore Konti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Pushing Men': A Pair Of Bookends in February 2013 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,468.77).

Die Arbeit Reverence Before Knowledge (Kneeling Men): Bookends von Isidore Konti wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Living with Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.629,04) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00.
