Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, Including the Collection of George S. Parker II from the Caxambas Foundation, which included the work Pushing Men: A Pair Of Bookends by Isidore Konti. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,271.67). Other works by Isidore Konti have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,468.77) in February 2013 for the work 'Pushing Men': A Pair Of Bookends.
