Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Isaac van Ostade could be acquired at Sothebys in London in July 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction, the work Winter Landscape With Figures On A Frozen River changed hands for GBP 81,250.00 (€ 115,185.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaac van Ostade achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Frozen River Landscape With A Waggoner Halted At An Inn And A Horse Pulling A Laden Sleigh Off The Ice In The Foreground in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 1,833,250.00 (€ 2,204,276.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Isaac van Ostade konnte im Juli 2015 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Winter Landscape With Figures On A Frozen River für GBP 81.250,00 (€ 115.185,21) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isaac van Ostade erzielen.
