Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A winter landscape with figures feeding a horse on a frozen lake, a church spire beyond by Isaac van Ostade was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. It changed hands for a price of EUR 79,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaac van Ostade achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Frozen River Landscape With A Waggoner Halted At An Inn And A Horse Pulling A Laden Sleigh Off The Ice In The Foreground in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 1,833,250.00 (€ 2,204,276.57).

Die Arbeit A winter landscape with figures feeding a horse on a frozen lake, a church spire beyond von Isaac van Ostade kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 79.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isaac van Ostade erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Frozen River Landscape With A Waggoner Halted At An Inn And A Horse Pulling A Laden Sleigh Off The Ice In The Foreground im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.833.250,00 (€ 2.204.276,57).
