Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work A Shepherd With His Flock Sheltering From A Storm Among Antique Ruins by Isaac de Moucheron. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,004.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaac de Moucheron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view of the Vatican, Rome, with the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica, from the Janiculum in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 169,250.00 (€ 215,579.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Shepherd With His Flock Sheltering From A Storm Among Antique Ruins von Isaac de Moucheron zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.004,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isaac de Moucheron erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A view of the Vatican, Rome, with the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica, from the Janiculum im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 169.250,00 (€ 215.579,01).
