In October 2002 Christies in New York held the auction Important Silver, Objects of Vertu and Russian Works of Art, which included the work Le Petit Bourgeois by Iosif Mikhailovich Gurvich. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 15,535.00 (€ 15,722.09). With this result, Le Petit Bourgeois is even the most expensive work of art by Iosif Mikhailovich Gurvich that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2002 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important Silver, Objects of Vertu and Russian Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Petit Bourgeois von Iosif Mikhailovich Gurvich zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 15.535,00 (€ 15.722,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Le Petit Bourgeois sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Iosif Mikhailovich Gurvich, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
