Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction Russian, which included the work View Of Capri by Iosif Mikhailovich Gurvich. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,910.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Iosif Mikhailovich Gurvich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Petit Bourgeois in October 2002 with an auction result of USD 15,535.00 (€ 15,722.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2006 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion Russian durch, in der auch die Arbeit View Of Capri von Iosif Mikhailovich Gurvich zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.320,00 (€ 1.910,02) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iosif Mikhailovich Gurvich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Petit Bourgeois im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.535,00 (€ 15.722,09).
