Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Indra Dugar could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 375.00 (€ 333.99) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Indra Dugar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parshwanath Hills; Mehrangar Fort (Jodhpur); Jagmandir Pichola Lake in December 2015 with an auction result of INR 1,875,000.00 (€ 26,072.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Indra Dugar konnte im März 2019 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 375,00 (€ 333,99) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 500,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Indra Dugar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parshwanath Hills; Mehrangar Fort (Jodhpur); Jagmandir Pichola Lake im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von INR 1.875.000,00 (€ 26.072,84).
