This artwork by Indra Dugar achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Mumbai in December 2015. In the The India Sale auction, the work Dispersing Gloom sold for INR 1,000,000.00 (€ 13,905.52) - well above the upper estimate of INR 500,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Indra Dugar; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Parshwanath Hills; Mehrangar Fort (Jodhpur); Jagmandir Pichola Lake sold at auction in December 2015 with the realized price of INR 1,875,000.00 (€ 26,072.84).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Indra Dugar erzielte im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in Mumbai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The India Sale wurde die Arbeit Dispersing Gloom für INR 1.000.000,00 (€ 13.905,52) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von INR 500.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Indra Dugar; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Parshwanath Hills; Mehrangar Fort (Jodhpur); Jagmandir Pichola Lake im Dezember 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von INR 1.875.000,00 (€ 26.072,84).
