Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Day'S End; The Old 'Un by Indra Dugar was sold in the The India Sale auction at Christies in Mumbai in December 2015. The price achieved of INR 562,500.00 (€ 7,821.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as INR 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Indra Dugar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Parshwanath Hills; Mehrangar Fort (Jodhpur); Jagmandir Pichola Lake, which sold at auction in December 2015 for INR 1,875,000.00 (€ 26,072.84).

Die Arbeit The Day'S End; The Old 'Un von Indra Dugar wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion The India Sale bei Christies in Mumbai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von INR 562.500,00 (€ 7.821,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit INR 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Indra Dugar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Parshwanath Hills; Mehrangar Fort (Jodhpur); Jagmandir Pichola Lake beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für INR 1.875.000,00 (€ 26.072,84) versteigert wurde.
