Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2013 Christies in New York held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art, which included the work To the Field by Indra Dugar. The price achieved of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,340.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Indra Dugar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parshwanath Hills; Mehrangar Fort (Jodhpur); Jagmandir Pichola Lake in December 2015 with an auction result of INR 1,875,000.00 (€ 26,072.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit To the Field von Indra Dugar zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.340,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Indra Dugar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parshwanath Hills; Mehrangar Fort (Jodhpur); Jagmandir Pichola Lake im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von INR 1.875.000,00 (€ 26.072,84).
