Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Teapot, 1974 by Ilya Kabakov was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,272.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ilya Kabakov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beetle in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,932,500.00 (€ 3,835,594.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Teapot, 1974 von Ilya Kabakov kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.272,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ilya Kabakov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beetle im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.932.500,00 (€ 3.835.594,92).
